Join us at a grand Victorian Ball at the historic Alameda Elks Lodge Ballroom and Salon, with brilliant dance music by  Franklin Beau Davis and The Brassworks, famous for their wonderful arrangements of classical music for dancing and of classic Viennese Waltzes for brass. The Brassworks will play a varied program, ranging from Victorian rotary waltzes, polkas, mazurka waltzes, and schottisches to quadrilles, contra dances, and mixers.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, there will be a pre-ball dance class in Victorian ballroom dance at 7 pm, and formal dancing to live music runs from 8 pm to midnight. No partners required and all mixers and set dances will be taught and called.

Victorian, vintage, or modern evening dress or dress uniform is admired but not required. Choose your favorite Victorian costume period (1837-1900).

There will be a no host bar and light refreshments (your potluck contributions will be greatly appreciated).
