Celebrate the Valentine's Season with a romantic vintage ball in an elegant Edwardian ballroom.

At 7 pm, there will be a pre-ball workshop in "Fred & Ginger-style" slow foxtrot and in East Coast Swing. Formal dancing continues from 8 pm to midnight with the fabulous Franklin Beau Davis and the Brassworks.

1930's, 40’s or 50’s costume or vintage or modern evening dress is admired but not required. For costume inspiration and historical background for our ball and for some wonderful ballroom dance variations, you may enjoy watching the Fred Astaire and Ginger Roger movies from the 1930's: "Flying Down to Rio," "The Gay Divorcee," "Roberta," 'Top Hat," "Follow the Fleet," "Swing Time," and "Shall We Dance."

There will be a full bar outside the ballroom and a light snack buffet in the parlor.
